Description
You may receive the following error message during startup...
     "unrecognized program"

The error occurs because you do not have Microsoft Access or the free runtime installed.

Download and install the free runtime from the Microsoft site to resolve the issue.

For Project Data Express (PDE), the full version of Microsoft Access is required. The other programs listed in the scope section can use either the full or free runtime version.
